Hilarious.  Seriously.

I decided to stop fighting my hair.  It is time that I come to terms with the fact that it is curly.  As much as I covet the hair of those girls with long, straight, shiny locks; I realize mine will never be like that. 

No matter what straightener I use, expensive product I buy or goop I put on it. .

But, I have made progress........not only to deal with what I have, but to accept it and make the most of it.  I came across some youtube videos about styling curly hair.  (Yes, I was supposed to be studying and got a little distracted).  And, I actually found them helpful. 

Apparently, leave in conditioner is my friend. 

Now that I have tried the tricks and got my routine down, I can manage to get unfrizzy, volumized, separated curls.  I am surprised at how little time it takes.  Easy, peasy. 

I can be proud to be a curly girl
